Mavention has built a new Microsoft SharePoint 2013-based website for housing corporation Woonbedrijf. Woonbedrijf wanted the website to be designed for mobile use on tablet or smartphone in order to allow clients the convenience of viewing available rental properties anytime, anywhere.
The new website is consistent with Woonbedrijf's house style and identity, and allows the corporation to boost its online visibility while acting as a conversing organisation for clients. For example, the website is based on a client-driven design through seamless integration with social media. Information provision and online service options have been tailored to each individual user and personalised based on, for example, a Facebook profile. Clients (tenants and aspirant tenants) can now use their own, personal environment and use the easy search functionality to find available houses for rent.
Tenants can also report repairs via the website. There is now even a feature that makes it possible to plan an appointment for the repair work to be carried out. The advantage for tenants is that appointments can be made at a time that is most convenient for them. Another perk of the website is that, by bundling all Woonbedrijf information and press releases, users have access to information about what's on in their local area at the click of a button. The news reports can also be offered in a tailored manner through integration with social media.
Mavention has thoroughly enjoyed creating this website. The process was executed in a modular way, allowing the functionality to be deployed in a phased way.
